On the one hand, the Emden site is directly linked to these developments as Volkswagen’s production site, and on the other hand, battery cells and their production will be a key factor in the field of electromobility.
Within the framework of strategic economic development a site survey has been commissioned, which examined the Emden site for the necessary factors for the establishment of battery cell production.
